Status of "Us Against Them."
Yes, I've been writing this book since 2016!
Us Against Them was supposed to be finished this week. And, of course, it’s not finished. I know, I dropped the ball on that. I am doing everything I can to finish it by December 31, 2025. If it is not finished on that date, it WILL be completed in January 2026.
I’ve been writing this novel since November 2016. I want it off my plate. I don’t want to turn into George R.R. Martin. I just want this book to be finished so that I can move on to my many other writing projects! Us Against Them is holding up progress!
Many things happened that slowed this novel's progress. I’m not making excuses, but life is like that. Just when you think everything is going well, a fastball hits you in the face out of nowhere. And that’s what happened to me with this novel. There were so many things that were out of my control and I had to deal with them the best I could, which means this novel got put on the back burner.
No one wants this novel finished more than I do. And I will do what it takes to finish it! I am so close to the finish line; nothing will stop me now. I’ve made it my priority now!
Thanks for sticking with me on this long-overdue novel for all of these years! Hopefully, you’ll be able to see why it took me so long to finish this novel once it’s completed.
